Web design in Zurich

Websites for Zurich businesses that need to look right to a finance or tech audience and still load fast on a phone.

Zurich is Switzerland's largest business centre, and its market is used to a high bar: finance, tech, agencies and consultancies compete for attention with clients who've seen a lot of polished websites already. That makes the basics matter more, not less, clear navigation, fast load times, and content that says what you actually do instead of hiding it behind stock imagery. Zurich audiences are also often multilingual, so German, English and sometimes French versions of the same site aren't unusual here, they're expected.

We're not based in the city itself, our Swiss base is in the Knonauer Amt, about thirty minutes away, but we work with Zurich clients regularly, in person for workshops and sign-off, and over calls for the rest. Every site is designed and built in-house rather than assembled from a template, and once it's live we keep it running: hosting, security updates, and the cookie consent and privacy setup required under Switzerland's revised data protection act.

What we do

Business & corporate websites

A site built to hold up in a market that's seen plenty of agency work already: clear structure, fast pages and content that reads like your business, not a generic template.

E-commerce

Online shops with TWINT and card payments, shipping integration and a back end your team can actually update, for Zurich businesses that want to sell online properly rather than bolt on a basic store.

Web apps & custom development

Custom booking systems, client portals and internal tools, the same approach we used to build a four-language events platform for the Swiss Portuguese community, from booking through to the door.

UX/UI, SEO & multilingual

Design that's built around how people actually use the site, search-engine and speed optimisation, and German, French, English and Italian versions set up from the start so adding one later is simple.

Recent work

Recent Swiss work, from a nationwide multilingual platform to a full brand-and-app build near Zug.

How it works

  1. 01

    Intro call

A free 20-minute call, in person if it's useful or over video, to talk through what the site needs to do and for whom.

  2. 02

    Plan & quote

We scope pages, languages and features and come back with a fixed price. A standard business site is 2-4 weeks; an online shop with payments typically runs 6-12 weeks.

  3. 03

    Design & build

Built in-house from the ground up, with working drafts to review as we go rather than a single big reveal at the end.

  4. 04

    Launch & support

We manage the go-live, then stay on for hosting, updates, and ongoing SEO and speed checks so performance doesn't slip after launch.

Questions

Do you have an office in Zurich?

No, our Swiss base is in the Knonauer Amt, about thirty minutes from the city. We travel in for workshops and sign-off meetings and run the rest over calls and shared files, which is how most of a web project works anyway.

Can you build a multilingual site for a Zurich audience?

Yes, and it's the norm rather than the exception here. German, French, Italian and English are all straightforward, and we build the site structure so new languages can be added later without a rebuild.

We already have a brand, can you just build the site?

Yes. Plenty of Zurich clients come to us with an existing identity and just need the website built properly: fast, structured well, and easy for their own team to update afterwards.

What does a website cost?

We don't quote a number until we know the scope, a corporate site and a full e-commerce build are different jobs. You'll get a fixed price after the free intro call.

Do you handle GDPR-style consent requirements?

Switzerland's revised data protection act (revDSG) has applied since September 2023, and we build cookie consent and basic privacy pages into every site we launch, whether the audience is purely Swiss or international.
