Web design in Lucerne

Websites for Lucerne's tourism, hospitality and trade businesses, built to be found and to take a booking.

Lucerne's economy runs on tourism, hospitality, events and a strong base of trading and SME businesses, which means a website usually has one specific job: get found by someone who isn't local yet, and make it easy for them to book, enquire or buy. That's a different brief from a corporate brochure site, and it shapes what we build, clear information for visitors who may not speak German, fast pages for people booking from a phone, and content that works in more than one language when the audience genuinely is international.

We're based in the Knonauer Amt, around thirty minutes from Lucerne, and come to you for site visits, photography or workshops when that's part of the job. Every site is designed and built in-house, hosted and maintained by us afterwards, and set up with the cookie consent and privacy basics required under Switzerland's revised data protection act, details that matter if you're taking bookings or payments from visitors across different countries.

What we do

Business & tourism websites

Sites for hotels, tour operators, restaurants and trade businesses, built to answer a visitor's questions fast and get them to book or enquire rather than bounce off the homepage.

E-commerce & booking

Online shops and booking-style flows with TWINT and card payments, shipping or reservation integration, and a back end simple enough for your team to run day to day.

Multilingual sites

German, French, Italian and English versions built in from the start, useful for a Lucerne business whose customers arrive from all over Switzerland and abroad.

Maintenance, SEO & speed

Hosting, updates and security handled after launch, plus search and speed optimisation so a seasonal tourism site still loads fast and ranks well in the months it matters most.

Recent work

We haven't built in Lucerne itself yet, here's recent Swiss work from nearby, including a multilingual platform and a full brand-and-app build.

How it works

  1. 01

    Intro call

A free 20-minute call about your business, your season, and what the site needs to do before, during and after a visitor's stay.

  2. 02

    Plan & quote

We scope pages, booking or shop needs and languages, then send a fixed quote. A standard site takes 2-4 weeks; a shop or booking build with payments runs 6-12.

  3. 03

    Design & build

Built in-house with drafts to review as we go, so you're not waiting until the end to see how the finished site looks and feels.

  4. 04

    Launch & support

We handle go-live and then stay on for hosting, security updates, and speed and SEO checks timed around your season rather than left until something breaks.

Questions

Do you have an office in Lucerne?

No, we're based in the Knonauer Amt, about thirty minutes away, and travel over for site visits, photography or workshops. Most of the project itself runs on calls and shared drafts.

Can you build a multilingual site for visitors who don't speak German?

Yes. German, French, Italian and English are the common combination for Lucerne tourism and hospitality businesses, and we set the site up so each language is properly maintained, not a thin translation layer.

Can the site take bookings or payments directly?

Yes, we can integrate booking flows and Swiss payment options including TWINT alongside card payments, so visitors can reserve a room, a table or a tour, and pay, without ever leaving your site.

Have you worked with Lucerne tourism or hospitality businesses before?

Not yet specifically in Lucerne, our recent Swiss work has been in Zug and further afield, but it's a brief we know well: fast, bookable, multilingual sites for visitor-facing businesses.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope, a brochure site and a booking system with payments are different projects. We give a fixed price after a free 20-minute call, once we understand what you need.
