The North East covers Tyneside, Wearside, County Durham and the Tees Valley, and each has its own mix of businesses. There are manufacturers and suppliers around Nissan Sunderland, firms based at Team Valley in Gateshead, production sites at Newton Aycliffe and Peterlee, and a digital cluster around Teesside University. Many of them share one problem, which is a small admin team doing work that software could do, such as chasing quotes or answering the same enquiry for the tenth time that week.
Our UK work is based around Sunderland, so the region is close rather than a long way off. Gateshead is about 15 minutes by road, Durham about 20 and Middlesbrough about 40, which makes a workshop at your site realistic. This page covers Gateshead, Durham, South Shields, Washington, Hartlepool and Middlesbrough. If you are in Newcastle or Sunderland itself, there is a separate page for each, linked below.
What we do
Workflows between your existing tools
We connect the CRM, email, accounting package and booking tools you already pay for, so enquiries, orders, invoices and reminders move without anyone retyping them. Built mostly on n8n and hosted in Frankfurt.
Supplier and order admin
For firms that supply larger manufacturers, we automate the paperwork that follows an order, such as order confirmations, document drafts and chasers, with a person approving anything that goes to a customer.
A website assistant that knows your business
A chat assistant that answers from your own services, opening hours and policies, takes enquiries and bookings, and hands over to a person when it should. Typically live in 2 to 4 weeks.
Reports and inbox triage
Weekly figures pulled together without a spreadsheet session, and a shared inbox sorted so urgent messages surface first. We run our own studio on the same stack, so we know where it breaks.
Recent work
Both are Swiss platforms, so none of this proof comes from the North East itself, but the same build approach applies to firms here.
How it works
- 01
Free 20-minute call
We talk through where your team loses time. You can ring or video call, and for firms on Tyneside or in Durham we can come to you instead.
- 02
Pick one workflow
We choose the single process that costs the most hours and write down what it should do. After the call you get a fixed quote, scoped in writing.
- 03
Build and test on real data
A first workflow typically goes live in 1 to 2 weeks and a website assistant in 2 to 4. Anything that writes to a customer waits for a person to approve it.
- 04
Run it and add the next one
We monitor it, show you what the AI costs each month, and add the next workflow once the first has proved itself. Every applied change can be undone.
Questions
Do you cover Middlesbrough and the Tees Valley as well as Tyneside?
Yes. Middlesbrough is about 40 minutes by road from Sunderland, so site visits are fine, and most of the work happens remotely anyway. We treat Teesside, Wearside and Tyneside as one patch rather than only Newcastle.
We supply a large manufacturer. Can automation help with their paperwork demands?
Often, yes. Order confirmations, delivery paperwork and chasers follow patterns, so a workflow can draft them from your order data. A person checks anything customer facing before it goes out, and you decide which steps stay manual.
Is Team Valley close enough for an on-site workshop?
Team Valley in Gateshead is about 15 minutes from Sunderland by road, so a session at your site mapping the process is easy to arrange. Durham is about 20 minutes away. Hartlepool and South Shields are also a short drive for most visits.
Where is our data kept, and does UK GDPR apply?
Our automations run on our own server in Frankfurt, and we can use your own server or a Swiss host on request. UK GDPR and PECR consent rules apply to your customer data, so we set it up with those in mind and document it. Your data protection adviser signs off.
Are we locked in if we want to move on later?
No. The workflows run on n8n, which is open source, so they can run on your own server if you want to move on. We document what each workflow does, which means you or another supplier can pick it up without starting again.
