AI automation in Sunderland

Practical automation for Sunderland trades, shops and small manufacturers, set up by a studio that already works on Wearside.

Sunderland has a lot of businesses that run on the owner's phone and a notebook: trades, independent shops, small manufacturers, hospitality along the coast. The paperwork follows you home. Quotes get written in the evening, bookings live in three places, and customers wait for a call back. The fix is rarely a big system. It is usually two or three tools connected properly, so a quote request becomes a draft quote, a booking becomes a confirmation, and a customer question becomes an answer ready for you to send.

We have made film in Sunderland for We Are Sunderland, so the city is not new to us, and we work across the North East. We build the automations mostly on n8n, hosted on our own server in the EU, or on yours if you prefer. UK GDPR and PECR consent are covered through clear notices and data processing agreements. Where AI is used, it suggests and you approve. Our founder Tiago Francisco explains each step in plain terms, without jargon.

What we do

Quotes and job requests

A request from a form, email or message becomes a tidy job record and a draft quote from your own price list, which you read and approve before it reaches the customer.

Bookings and confirmations

Customers book, get a confirmation and a reminder, and you see the day's schedule in one place, so fewer slots are missed and fewer messages are typed twice.

Customer messages

An assistant answers common questions on your website from your own information, such as opening hours, services and prices, and passes the rest to you with the conversation attached.

Invoices and weekly numbers

Invoices go out from your records, late ones get chased politely, and a short weekly summary shows what came in and what is outstanding without opening a spreadsheet.

Recent work

A services marketplace and an ordering platform we built in Switzerland, both with the booking and request flows these jobs rely on.

How it works

  1. 01

    Intro call

A free 20-minute call, by phone or in person around Sunderland: how do enquiries and jobs reach you today, and what gets lost on the way?

  2. 02

    Plan and quote

We choose the one or two jobs that would give the most time back and send a written fixed quote that spells out exactly what you will get.

  3. 03

    First workflow live

A first workflow typically goes live within 1-2 weeks. You run it on real customers, and we change what does not feel right before building more.

  4. 04

    Look after it

We monitor the workflows, fix problems and adjust when your prices, services or tools change, and show you what any AI use costs each month.

Questions

Are you local to Sunderland?

We work across the North East of England, including Sunderland and Newcastle, and we have made film for We Are Sunderland. We meet clients in person where it helps. Most of the build runs remotely, with short calls and shared documents.

Is automation worth it for a very small business?

Sometimes, and we say so if it is not. If a task happens a few times a month, doing it by hand is cheaper. The cases that pay back are repeated daily and touch several programs. The intro call is there to sort the two apart.

How much does it cost?

We do not publish prices, because the scope decides them: how many jobs we automate, how many tools they touch and whether AI has to make a judgement. You get a fixed quote in writing after the call. Any AI usage is shown monthly.

Can you work with our existing tools?

In most cases yes. Common accounting, booking and email tools can be connected, and for those that cannot, there is often a workable route through email or spreadsheets. We confirm what is possible on the call, before we quote.

What about customer data and UK GDPR?

We keep to the data you actually need, write clear privacy notices, handle consent under PECR and sign data processing agreements. A person can step in on any customer conversation. Public models are not trained on your data, and your adviser signs it off.
